It’s cold, wet, windy & snowy - for those overseas who think Ireland is always like this it’s not. But as we do just sometimes get slightly inclement weather here’s 5 fun indoor team events for almost any number.
1- Team Works. One of our most popular - short table top tasks that are all very different and each lasts only 10-20 minutes so the constant variation works great.
2 - Lights Camera Action - All of our making video games(and there’s lots of options) can take place indoors or outdoors and with on site fast editing you even have your after dinner entertainment taken care of too.
3 - Planetary Pipeline - Lasting an hour and a half this gets teams to work on constructing a pipeline across their territory but they must also work with others to take it in and pass it on. A great team collaboration event.
4- The Mission - One of our indoor themed events this is perfect for a post conference setting. A dramatic start followed by a race to save the company - this can be adapted to any venue.
5- The Apprentice - We’ve adapted our great version to make it work exclusively indoors and with our eyes and ears watching everything there is no escape. Especially when you get to the boardroom….

Some simple but effective ways of livening up any Christmas party.
1- Surprise Them. Add something in they’re not expecting, adapt it your budget. One free drink if your budget is low, a surprise entertainer if you’ve got a bit more.
2- Reward Them. Give them an hour or two off the next morning. For those that can’t tell them they can take it the next day.
3- Entertain them. Include a slideshow of the year in photos, get one of the team to write a story of the year (but check it first!), run a short “This was the year that…” quiz for everyone to take part in at coffee stage. It will definitely add a buzz.
4- Reserve somewhere for later. Those with stamina will make it out late anyway so you might as well make it definite. It will keep everyone together too.
5- Speeches. 5 minutes maximum, even better if you can do in less than 2.
